Dana has been making botanically inspired artworks for most of her life. Her focus has turned to botanical illustration. Much of her work has been documenting native plants of the state she lives in, Iowa. She is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists. Her devotion to capturing plant forms in two and three dimensional art is reflects her aesthetic and environmental mission.
