Dana has been making botanically inspired artworks for most of her life. Her main focus has been native plants of the state she lives in, Iowa. Less than one percent of her state’s original grasslands and savannas exist today and some are at risk in their native habitats. Her devotion to capturing plant forms in two and three dimensional art documents these increasingly rare forms. Enjoy exploring these works!
